Welcome New Year|New Start! Unfortunately, due to inclement weather our
January 17 meeting was canceled. So we are starting the new year on Tuesday February 21 at Sunbury
Village, 922 Ohio Street (building at the rear) from 6pm-8pm. We'll play a game, share our projects, munch on snacks,
talk about past year, and make plans for 2012. Since
January is the traditional clear-out/declutter month, we're having a yarn swap at the meeting. Bring all your leftovers,
no-longer-excited-about yarn, or other yarn to make someone else happy. If you have unneeded pattern books or needles, bring
those along.
We're moving into our
third year. We gathered together and had a lot of fun. Our members can choose to attend monthly meetings and just sit &
knit or to get involved as a member of the Executive Committee or anything in between. We are sharing knitting knowledge,
bringing in special teachers, working on charity projects, and taking knitting trips together – whatever we choose to
do! We're
encouraging knitters and wannabes of all ages to join us. Young people can join for only $12 a year
and enjoy all the benefits of membership, including taking part in voting on guild issues.
